As traditional earthmoving equipment, wheel loaders are widely used in transportation and load of sands, stones, and other aggregates.

But, along with industrial modernization, it has been necessary for OEMs to expand the usability and adaptiveness of their machines through the development of attachments that are made for the application needs of a number of diverse industries.

LiuGong, as a world leading CE manufacturer in design and manufacture of wheel loaders, has developed various attachments for its loaders to meet the variety of customers’ needs.

For example, a side dumping hopper can replace a normal front bucket and make LiuGong’s loader more flexible and agile to be used in tunnel construction or a LiuGong fork loaders can easily move large stones and have been widely used in quarrying and stone handling.

Clamping Forks at Use

One specific example is the production of chip board.

In 2004, several LiuGong 50C machines were put into use by one of the top wood processing companies in China. The equipment as remained in service for 15 years and on the success of those loaders the company recently purchased additional 856H wheel loaders from LiuGong.

In the company’s warehouse, the raw materials are stocked neatly in piles to be made into different panel products according to their sorts and quality. Here is the working place for LiuGong’s loaders. The 856H machines are equipped with clamping forks which is used to lift and hold round logs. Transporting and stacking the logs.

For the third time during times of production increase, the company decided to invest in new machines and again selected LiuGong. “We considered trying imported brands at first, but after taking a look at LiuGong’s latest H series, I felt to be falling in love with them. So, after discussions inside our company, we decided to buy two 856Hs and asked the factory to change the buckets to wood clamping forks.

The machines have been working for almost six months and there hasn’t been any major faults.

These machines work three shifts a day and each operator is happy with the ease of operation and how comfortable the cab is for their daily work.

We are so proud that our national brand has made such significant improvements and we intend to buy another two LiuGong loaders to cope with our production demands in the next half of the year.
